The app is really well-Made and it helps you ti improve your memory and studying in general, but the function sharing deck with friends who also have brainscape doesnt work!!!

Simple, effective and most importantly free. Although the Default arguments are expensive, the huge database makes up for it.

I use this app almost everyday and its absolutely useful and well done

Its great for studying, but its a little hard to use and hard to get a hold of the decks and subjects you want.

I have two devices with both Flashcardlet and Brainscape. I did flash cards on my iPhone and then downloaded them to brainscape to the same device, the iPhone. However to get both group of flash cards to my iPad I am having issues since I didnt create them on the iPad. I logged out and logged back in but only one group showed out of two. It seems like it could be a little more simple to get them to talk to each other. Other then that I like the app for my basic flash card needs. It is better then carrying around a stack of 300+ cards in a bag.

Save your money and just use a standard free flash card app. Otherwise, if you want to study efficiently, use one of the alternative apps that allows cards to sleep after increasing intervals and based on your own settings. It is very annoying that both the smart and progressive system insist on repeating cards, including those marked perfectly known, over and over within even a single study session before showing new ones for the first time. Users should be able to adjust the settings to either prioritize reviewing new cards first or stretch out the length of time before a recently viewed card shows itself again, including those marked as being not at all known. As currently built, it is virtually impossible to review a new deck of cards from start to finish without cheating yourself by marking them all perfectly known. The only option Brainscape offers to get through a whole deck of yet to be perfectly known cards is the browse function to ensure you have an opportunity to see all new cards in a deck as well as review cards that you know a bit but not perfectly, but which is no different from any other free app. Once youve gotten through your deck to assign initial ratings, unfortunately you will also almost never get a chance to review your cards marked 3 or 4 in a deck of 100 if you let even a handful of cards marked 1 stay in the deck so the 5 point system is completely unnecessary. Be prepared to see the same cards marked 1 about five times before it allows you to see all your cards marked 2 and so on. Moreover, the system doesnt realize that skills diminish over time. Without a sleep function for reviewed cards, the system simply burns up your time. They try to get around this by letting you reset the scores of all your cards, but again, youd be better off just going to browse mode once a week to ensure your scores are still accurate (especially for some of the 3s and 4s that you likely havent seen since the initial scoring) havent worsened.

Its an excellent tool for learning and very user friendly! I have enjoy using it and will recommend that others try it too.

Im going to school to be a pharmacy tech. This app is fantastic to help me learn the brand name and generic name of medications and their use. It trains me till I get every one of them right and will help me more with the ones Im struggling with. This app is brilliant.

Ive always been told "repetition is key" an Im still learning the meaning of this, but here as of late Ive learned that repetition helps in numerous ways, an repeated study does truly help prepare, an thats what youll get with this app.

They make you pay for cards then later once you enjoy the app they make you pay monthly. All in the name of making the app better. Guess what, same cards that flip over with the answer.

Its pretty good

Good app with strong features and support. But please let me sort my decks so I can make sense of my large library with different subjects. Adding Hints if you are stuck on one and just need a quick reminder would be a nice touch. Also for answers that have multiple lines or ingredients like drinks, the ability to display the answer one line at a time will help memorize the recipe easier if its not one chunk of info to memorize. Thanks for the hard work and keep it up!

Zero stars!! (I tried posting a 1 star review but its impossible!) I paid to be upgraded to pro and nothing happened. I got robbed, all the time and effort I out into making my flash cards and for nothing, I guess if you really want to unlock all the extra features you need to pay $80 otherwise one month will get you nothing like it happened to me. I tried everything and still nothing, I even still get those annoying messages asking me to tell my friends about it and to upgrade and stuff . Smh, ohh and this is the third review I post because apparently you cant post "bad reviews" itll say that the nickname is already taken... even tho I completely just made up mine so thats why its 5 stars but it should be ZERO!
