Ive only been using this app for a few hours but so far Im very impressed

I use it for everything

More than 3 years ago, I purchased a deck for Chinese business vocabulary and other related decks. They cost around $20. My access to this deck is restricted to 25 cards a day unless I upgrade. How can I be certain that if I upgrade Brainscape will honour its promise to provide the cards when they have already restricted access to the cards I purchased. It is a well engineered app but not a very scrupulous one.

With the new update (May 2016) you are now SEVERELY (not just a little bit) restricted in this app. You can now only look at 25 cards per days and you cant reset the deck which is 100% essential to using the app. Its completely worthless now, its laughable! The really bad part is that ages ago I PAID for several decks, for sometimes up to $20 each. At the time there werent any of these restrictions. What I was buying was different. What they have done is ILLEGAL. Its breaching the conditions of the offer that I accepted when I bought the decks. I obviously would not have bought them if I could only look at 25 cards per day and never reset the deck. Now the $100+ I spent is completely worthless. Im positive they could be successfully sued for this. And I hope someone does, I really do. I would be less mad if you could even just buy a "reset deck" option for $1 or something. But no, you have to pay per month or per year, its ridiculous. And its not even cheap, its expensive. For flash cards?! Thats insane. There are SO many other flash card and studying apps. Good luck, brainscape. You idiots.

This is a great way to review just a few minutes everyday. I like the progressive study option.

I once was the #1 fan of brainscape before they decided to make it unrealistically expensive. 110$ to have the possibility to shuffle, browse or to reset confidence is insane. These options should be free with flashcards of your own creation. I created more than 800+ flashcards using app. I feel like all the time invested creating these is lost.

This is a great app. Been using it quite a while and now am able to annoy my family in Spanish.

Understanding what you do and do not know is very helpful in new language acquisition. Brainscapes flash cards and self-checks help me know what I already know, as well as what I still need tobwork on

I had been using a different app for quite some time but didnt feel as though I was making much progress. In just a couple of weeks with Brainscape I find myself remembering words I hadnt even learned before. Theres a lot of material and the style with which its taught is really helpful for me. Great app!

Its the best app ever BUT you can only do 15 questions a day unless u pay 3$a month pls fix

It Really helps, and I always use it before a test (Especially in Science and History). I also bought the LIFETIME Premium and it REALLY helps!

I have been using this app for years and it used to be free to use everything. Now it costs 50 bucks a year which is not bad but you cant even edit your decks anymore or completely create your own deck. On top of that when you click one of the pre made ones and delete the optional decks within a subject they all come back after you make your own. Used to love this app and recommend it to my friends all the time but now it has turned around on me. What a shame it used to be so much better.

Such a great tool for creating flashcards before tests.... makes it easy to study wherever you are!! 10/10 reccomend!

This app is the absolute best for studying your school material! It has system on rating your confidence of the answer and then using that according to the frequency it shows you the card.

Save a lots of my time on studying for exams
